Oscar-vinderne 2013

Ben Afflecks thriller Operation Argo fik Oscar-statuetten for Bedste film, da der natten mellem søndag og mandag blev uddelt priser i Dolby Theatre. Derudover modtog filmen priser for Bedste manuskript og Bedste klipning.

Den danske film En kongelig affære var nomineret i kategorien for Bedste udenlandske film, men måtte se sig besejret af Amour, instrueret af østrigske Michael Haneke.

Life of Pi vandt fire priser i alt, bl.a. modtog Ang Lee prisen for Bedste instruktør. Musicalen Les Misérables hentede tre priser hjem, deriblandt Anne Hathaway for Bedste kvindelige birolle, og Django Unchained fik to priser (Bedste manuskript og Bedste mandlige birolle).

De to hovedrollepriser gik henholdsvis til Jennifer Lawrence for Silver Linings Playbook og til Daniel Day-Lewis (der fuldender sit hattrick) for Lincoln.
